About Colley shop

In 2018, Landing Colley and Monique Plantinga met in Gambia. In order to do something for Gambia, they decide to set up a foundation together. And this is how the Gambia School Project Foundation was born. They focus on young children to give them an opportunity to learn. Their motto is that poverty can be combated with knowledge. The profit from this store will therefore benefit the foundation.

The store started in Kololi street. To have more space they moved to Burusubi Highway. In the future, they hope to find a place where they can build their own store.

In 2019 they started the Colley shop company together. They import goods from the Netherlands to Gambia. They do this with their own container transport. With the help of several companies in the Netherlands, they are able to import high-quality goods. Mainly furniture, household items and clothing.
They specialize in school furniture and school materials. This is of course also because this is where their passion lies.
They have a good relationship with a car company in the Netherlands, which also gives them the opportunity to import cars to Gambia. For this they arrange the export and import papers themselves.
